The Autonomous Community of Extremadura, formed by the provinces of Cáceres and Badajoz, is situated in south-western Spain, and has a board with Portugal. The influency of neighbouring Portugal is also noted in the language. In Extremadura, besides of español, other languages - variations of portuguese - are spoken as well as the fala, another regional language.
